Why patients come to us

Your oncologist treats the tumour. Who rebuilds you?

Chemotherapy and radiation work on the disease. The nausea, exhaustion, lost appetite and falling counts are usually left to you to manage. That is where Ayurveda earns its place: around the treatment, not instead of it.

  • Nausea, fatigue and no appetite through every cycle
  • Treatment delayed because blood counts or organ values dropped
  • Herbs suggested by relatives, with no one checking them against your chemotherapy
  • Nobody looking after your strength between oncology visits

Ayurveda belongs beside oncology, not against it.

We never ask a patient to stop, delay or replace cancer treatment. The protocol is timed around your cycles and shared with your treating team.

The Ayurvedic support protocol

Three pillars. One support protocol.

Formulations, Rasayana and Pathya, matched to your diagnosis and to where you are in treatment.

Eating through treatment

A treatment-phase Pathya plan that protects weight, digestion and energy for the weeks when food is the hardest part of the day.

On Panchkarma: it is considered only when clinically appropriate, usually between cycles or after treatment ends, and only after assessing your strength alongside your oncologist's plan. It is not done routinely during active chemotherapy.

Measured. Tracked. Adjusted.

Ayurveda you can measure.

Support is judged on your reports and on how you actually feel: counts, organ function, weight and appetite reviewed at every follow-up.

Not all Ayurveda is the same

Herbs from a shop versus a supervised protocol

During cancer treatment, what you take and when you take it matters as much as the remedy itself.

Herbs by word of mouth

Well-meant advice, no supervision, real risk.

  • Remedies chosen by relatives, not by your diagnosis or treatment phase
  • Nobody checks them against your chemotherapy schedule
  • Counts, liver and kidney values watched by no one between cycles
  • Advice to stop or delay chemotherapy
  • Support stops the day the cycles stop

Dr. Joshi's Ayurvedic protocol

Prepared, prescribed and timed around your treatment.

  • Formulations matched to your diagnosis and treatment phase
  • Timed around your cycles and shared with your treating team
  • Blood counts, organ function and weight reviewed at every follow-up
  • Your oncology treatment continues exactly as prescribed
  • A structured Rasayana plan for recovery after treatment ends

FAQ's

Everything you need to know

Still have questions? Speak directly with our team for guidance on your condition.

Ask on WhatsApp
Does Ayurveda replace chemotherapy, radiation or surgery?

No. Our protocol runs alongside your oncology treatment and is timed around it. We never ask a patient to stop, delay or replace cancer treatment.

Is it safe to take Ayurvedic medicines during chemotherapy?

Only when a doctor chooses and times them for your treatment. Please don't take herbs on your own during chemotherapy, and tell us everything you are already taking so we can review it.

Can I have Panchkarma during treatment?

Usually not during active chemotherapy. Panchkarma is considered when it is clinically appropriate, typically between cycles or after treatment, and only after assessing your strength and your oncologist's plan.

What does the support actually help with?

Most patients come to us for the side-effect load: nausea, fatigue, appetite, digestion and strength through treatment, and rebuilding afterwards.

When should I start?

Ideally at diagnosis or before your first cycle, so support is in place from the start. Patients also come to us mid-treatment, or after it ends for recovery.

How long before I see a change?

Most patients see measurable improvement within 6–12 weeks, and every change is tracked against your reports.

Can I consult from another city?

Yes. Online consultations run across India, with in-person care at our Mumbai, Pune, Nashik and Thane clinics.
